Cody Israel is a queer, Black, Queens-born Caribbean multidisciplinary artist. Cody explores the dialectical relationships found in Black modernism by weaving family myth, anatomy, and ecology to form a practice that informs their audience through dynamic storytelling.

Their current studio is Hex House, a DIY, collective studio located in East Williamsburg, NY.
